Lower Primary Trip — Museum of Illusions

Curiosity is the engine of learning in Lower Primary, and there are few better places to feed it than a room designed to make you question what your own eyes are telling you. On Saturday, 3rd October 2026, our Lower Primary learners visit the Museum of Illusions for a hands-on day of wonder and discovery.

Where Science Meets Play

The Museum of Illusions turns optical tricks and perspective puzzles into an interactive playground. For learners in Grades 1 to 3, it is a chance to experience early ideas about how our senses work, how perspective changes what we see, and why things are not always what they appear to be — all through play rather than a textbook.

This kind of experiential learning sits at the heart of the Competency-Based Curriculum, which values curiosity, critical thinking and learning by doing.

A Note for Parents

Departure and return times, packing guidance and consent requirements will be communicated directly to Lower Primary parents before the trip. Please complete and return any forms on time so your child can join in.

Your child’s class teacher is available for any questions about the day.
