Grade 6 to 9 Educational Trip

Some of the most lasting memories of school are made far from the classroom. From Monday, 9th to Thursday, 12th November 2026, our learners set off on a four-day educational trip to Mombasa — the kind of experience that stays with a young person long after the term is over.

Learning Beyond Nairobi

A residential trip to the coast offers learning that no classroom can replicate — history, geography, culture and the natural environment, encountered first-hand. Beyond the syllabus, a trip like this builds independence, responsibility and teamwork, as learners navigate several days away from home together under the care of our staff.

These are exactly the competencies the CBC seeks to develop: self-efficacy, citizenship and the confidence that comes from stepping outside the familiar.

A Note for Parents

A residential trip requires careful preparation. Full details — departure and return times, packing lists, costs, medical information and consent requirements — will be communicated directly to the parents of participating learners well in advance. Please read all communication carefully and return forms and payments by the stated deadlines to secure your child’s place.
