Kings International Academy's Junior School takes learners through Grades 7, 8 and 9 under the Competency-Based Curriculum, in a disciplined, Christ-centred environment on our Fedha, Outering Road campus.

Junior School is when learners start choosing the direction of their education. At Kings International Academy, the programme emphasises critical thinking, innovation, leadership, collaboration and responsibility, preparing every learner for their senior school pathway.
Learners are guided within a disciplined and Godly environment that promotes excellence, integrity and accountability. The school is sponsored by Gospel Centres International Central Church and has served families in Fedha and Embakasi since January 2009.
Kings International Academy is approved by the Ministry of Education to offer Junior Secondary (Grades 7–9), and appears on the Ministry's list of approved private schools in Embakasi West.
Junior School is led by Mr. Jared Michira, Head of Primary and Junior School, with 11 years of teaching experience and five years as a senior teacher.
Learners may join up to two clubs a year. Club fees are billed with school fees.
From house competitions on Sports Day to the four-day Grade 6–9 educational trip to Mombasa in November 2026, Junior School learners grow in confidence well beyond the classroom. See more on our events page.
