Joining the Kings International Academy family is a decision many parents describe as one of the best they have made for their child. We have designed the admissions process to be clear, personal, and unhurried because a decision this important deserves proper attention.

Below is everything you need to know, from your first enquiry to your child’s first day.

Step 1 – Reach Out

Get in touch with us by phone, through our website enquiry form, or by visiting the school directly. Our team will respond promptly and answer any initial questions you have about the school, the curriculum, or available spaces. Contact: +254 716 119 645

Step 2 – Visit the school

We invite every prospective family to a personal school tour before making any decisions. You will see the campus, meet available staff, learn about our programmes, and get a genuine feel for the KIA community. Tours are available Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Step 3 – Learner assessment

Where applicable, your child will participate in a brief assessment or informal interview to help us understand their current level and ensure we can provide the right support and environment for them to thrive.

Step 4 – Submit the admission form

Complete the official KIA admission form and submit it together with the required documents for your child’s level. Our admissions team will confirm receipt and let you know the timeline for a decision.

Step 5 – Admission confirmed

The school reviews your application and formally confirms your child’s admission, including the class placement and any relevant transition information.

Step 6 – Secure the placement

Once admission is confirmed, payment of the admission fee and the applicable term’s school fees secures your child’s place. We will then walk you through everything your family needs to know ahead of your child’s first day.

When can my child join?

Kings International Academy accepts new learners throughout the academic year across most class levels, subject to space availability. You do not need to wait for a new term to begin the admissions process.

Please Note:

Spaces in Grade 6 and Grade 9 are not available for mid-year intake — admissions for these classes are considered at the start of a new academic year only.
Some class levels have limited spaces. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to confirm availability for your preferred level.
The school has three terms per year: Term 1 (January – March), Term 2 (May – July), and Term 3 (August – October).
